The Monday Mix - Week 2
EO is here to get your week started with a bang, as we present to you one of our favourite mixes or live sets from the past week. It might not be a new mix, it could be a live set from a few years back, or it could be a mixtape from a few days ago. Either way, it you want an awesome selection of tunes wrapped up in a neat package, this is your place to come.
This week, we're going back a mere month to remind you about, or bring to your attention for the first time, Nero's superb mix to promote the first single from their new album, Satisfy.
The Satisfy Mix seems to hint at a bit of a change of direction for Nero. There's no dubstep to be found here, it's all 128 BPM (or close to). That might take some getting used to for fans, but they've got plenty of time to convince us that it's the right thing to be doing before the as-yet untitled album drops.
However that turns out, this is a great, old-school mix, featuring classics from the likes of Daft Punk, and a bootleg of a Depeche Mode track. And if you listen carefully, you might even hear a brand new Nero track, too...
Nero have struck quite the chord with this mix, with some unsure as to this new direction. But you owe it to yourself to have a listen so you can at least draw your own conclusion.
