The need to come up with their own genre name is not purely for the sake of vanity, as Ferrari is difficult to file away under any existing labels. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's a very melodic cross between future house and trap.
Indeed, futuristic is definitely the word here, as Coyote Kisses come up trumps with an assortment of fantastically vibrant synths, and their own take on the laid-back house style that is currently very 'in'.
Swirling vocal samples collide with the sounds of engines revving, before they introduce us to their instantly memorable hook - this is one of the best aspects of Ferrari.
The bass 'drops' and twangs satisfyingly throughout the track, while the melismatic lead bounces and glides between octaves, lending the track a hugely danceable vibe. Ferrari achieves something that many have tried and failed at - creating something beautiful that you can absolutely still get down to.
