Nero have finally revealed the details for their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, which we now will be titled Between II Worlds. The follow up to their 2011 album Welcome Reality, fans can expect to find the bass sound that the production duo have become so well known for make a return, but developed further to incorporate new genres and styles. They can also expect the return of Alana Watson on vocals for many of the tracks. Watson now serves as a permanent third member of Nero, and even makes it onto the album art, which you can see in full below.
This splurge of information comes at the end of what must be one of the longest build ups to an album ever. Between II Worlds' first track, Satisfy, was released over a year ago to critical acclaim, before the trail went cold and Nero disappeared once again. Then, a few weeks ago, they made a second comeback with the first single proper, The Thrill. That track is due for release on June 7th.
Between II Worlds also looks to include an updated version of their contribution to the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby, Into The Past. It'll be interesting to see what changes have been made here.
Pre-ordering their new album now gets you an instant download of its epic, 7 minute long title track, as well as Satisfy. The album is released on August 28th (28/08 - geddit?). You can find the full track list below.
